SAS3 Certification for Power Balance
New BESS from FENIX Group Certified! Today, March 12th, we successfully certified our SAS3 (BESS 1MW/2.4MWh) in Jeseník for power balance services. Perhaps a small step for humanity, but undoubtedly a big step for FENIX Group and AERS.
The development of our battery storage systems began in 2016 in Pilsen, and now we have achieved our goal – a universal BESS system that handles:
- SPOT trading,
- peak shaving,
- micro-outage coverage,
- PV energy accumulation,
- flexibility and SVR services.
It's up to the customer to choose which functionality they prefer. We build the BESS on our own technological concept with a unique inverter manufactured for us by Škoda Electric and with our own software developed at AERS. After registration with ČEPS (Czech Transmission System Operator), we plan to start providing support services, and we will continuously publish data on www.fenixgroup.cz.
