Heating systems in industry

Heating cables can be used in the construction of foundation blocks and floors of cold stores or winter stadiums, where it is necessary to temper the floors and door sills to a certain temperature, and thus prevent freezing and subsequent deformation of the foundation block.

On the contrary, in many thermal power plants it is necessary to defrost certain masses. Power plants use train sets to supply coal, which, however, freezes on wagons during transport in the winter months, and the set needs to be thawed before the coal can be unloaded. Powerful defrost tunnels are used for this purpose. Usually, waste heat from power plant blocks is blown into the tunnels, but if the blocks are shut down, a system of high-temperature panels is an effective alternative.
